Chocolate Popcorn Balls 1/4 c Sugar
1/4 c Dark corn syrup
2 tb Cocoa
2 tb Butter or margarine
1/2 ts Vanilla extract
1/8 ts Salt
4 c Freshly popped popcorn
3/4 c Pecan pieces
Combine first 6 ingredients in a 3-quart casserole. Microwave uncovered at HIGH for 2 to 2-1/2 minutes or until boiling; stir until smooth. Stir in popcorn and pecans. Microwave, uncovered, at HIGH for 1 minute; stir gently. Spread mixture onto wax paper. Let cool 30 minutes. Shape mixture into six 2-1/2 inch balls, pressing firmly.
